New To Foothills?
What To Expect
Worship begins at 9:30 am, 11:00 am and 12:30 pm. As you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed by our parking lot team. All first time visitors or those with special needs will be directed to a front row parking space and assisted into the building. From the lobby, one of our Foothills greeters will invite you into the atrium for freshly brewed coffee and homemade breakfast treats.
As you enter the auditorium, an usher will assist you with finding a seat where you can join in or listen to praise and worship music, led by Pastor Nate Fowler. Pastor Dr. Doug Peake will present the weeks message.
If you have children 5th grade and younger, the parking team will direct you to KidzKingdom on the west side of the building where a children’s ministry worker will greet you and your family. Children 4 years and older, will be directed to the gym for a brief playtime before Children’s Worship begins. For nursing mothers, there is an infant cry room next to the auditorium and adjacent to the nursery and other children’s classrooms.
For those of you with teens, Canvas-Core (middle school) rocks out at 9:30 a.m. at their own worship service held in The Youth Center and led by Youth Pastor Brandon Howland. Canvas-Ecclesia for grades 9-12 is at 11:00. There is a service for both middle school and high school at 12:30. Everyone enjoys fellowship and Italian Sodas after each service at the Youth Center Soda Fountain.
Next Step?
Once you have been on our church campus, whether it be for a class or small group or Sunday morning worship, you are invited to have “Pizza with the Pastors”. This bi-monthly informal lunch provides a casual backdrop for getting to know the pastors, staff and elders of the church. All family members are invited and childcare is provided for the younger children.
During this time of fellowship, you will be given the opportunity to consider “Your Next Step” regarding your spiritual growth. Do you want to join a community group? Is your heart ready to serve? Would you benefit by taking one of the spiritual growth classes at FCC University?
Whatever the desires of your heart are, the leaders of the church are there to discuss them with you and give you personal guidance so you can become the person God created you to be.
