Stopping Human Trafficking
We are a group of people seeking to end human trafficking. Most people do not know that modern day slavery is more prevalent today than at the height of the slave trade in the 1800′s. Human trafficking primarily is women and children being sold and trafficked for the purpose of sex work. Our goal is do whatever we can to bring an end to this practice.
Human trafficking is illegal in every country so in order for it to happen, local authorities must be corrupted. Therefore, we are involved with International Justice Mission. An international organization that seeks to bring justice in foreign countries. IJM investigates human trafficking, cataloging evidence. They coordinate with law enforcement authorities that are not corrupt to stop the practice and make arrests. Encourage prosecution of perpetrators of these crimes, and then find after care facilities for those who have been set free. You can see their website here:

In the United States, aftercare facilities are crucial for children and young girls how have been freed from trafficking. Often, these victims need a place to recover that is safe and supports their recovery. Courage 2 Be You is an organization that is providing after care that is secure, safe, and provides professional recovery services. You can see their work here:

Finally, we seek to encourage our government to continue to bring accountability to foreign governments where human trafficking. We regularly sign modern day abolition cards and deliver them to our representatives in the United States Congress. This continual reminder of the prevalence of human trafficking keeps it on the radar of our government and allows them to bring accountability to foreign governments.
