For Our Community

The first thing the Care Ministry does is reach out to those in need of support and encouragement. We pray over the prayer requests and follow up on certain ones. The Care Ministry reaches out to those in need through illness or hardship giving support though Christ’s family. We’ll send get well cards, sympathy and encouragement cards. We arrange meals for memorial services. The pastoral staff likes to follow up on attenders we haven’t seen in awhile, so we’re involved it that.

We have a food pantry for anyone in need. If someone in the church needs leaves removed or snow shoveled the Care Ministry is here to help. If they need an errand run or a ride to a doctors appointment we’re here.

New to the Care Ministry is a weekly Networking Job Club for those who are unemployed or under employed. The first meeting will start with an all day workshop on Feb. 16 from 9 am to 4 pm. Box lunches and childcare will be provide. The weekly Job Club will continue after that.
