For Middle School Students

Introduction

Hey everyone. My name is Brandon Howland and I am the new Student Ministries Pastor here at Foothills. I am excited to be here and ready to hit the ground running. I have been in youth ministry since 2003 and during that time from 2006-2007, I was a police officer in Texas. I am married to the love of my life, Melissa, and we have an AMAZING son, Dax Jacoby, who is almost 15 months old. We also are the proud owners of KODIAK NOE KYODAI, a 104 pound black lab that rocks! My wife and I have a huge heart for students and for seeing the church’s future leaders raise up and have a selfless faith and set an example for everyone to follow. I am glad you stopped by to check out CANVAS here at FCC. Discipleship – Help students CREATE a real, authentic relationship with CHRIST.
Community – CONNECT students to the COMMUNITY through Small Groups.
Outreach – Teach students to COMMUNICATE the GOSPEL to their peers Service/Ministry-COMMIT students to serving in the church.

Tuesday Night CANVAS @ 7PM

…is the place to come to meet up with friends from school and meet new friends from other schools around you. Have fun with GAMES, GAMES, GAMES, live music, free food and speakers that have interactive messages based on the pressures of this generation and biblical principals that will engage your mind and help you discover who God is in your life!

Tuesday Night Vine currently meets at FCC @ 7PM MST. This is a great time of worship, games, and building relationships.

Sunday Morning CANVAS @ 9AM

…is geared toward growing deeper in your faith and learning ways to invest in your faith. We join in with other middle school students and youth leaders in a time of worship, communion, and in depth bible study followed by small group discussion.

Sunday Morning Vine currently meets at FCC @ 9AM MST – Students sit in for the worship section of the main service, and then head up to the Middle School classroom (upstairs, above the gym).

Come join us for a time of fun, laughter, and excitement, as we take a look at what the Bible has to say to us!
