This life is more awesome, than you think it is. You are living in the greatest period of human advancement. There is so reason to be optimistic from affluence, medical treatments, technological and economic advancements. Yet, many young people are pessimistic. It’s time for freedom, to live life to the max so why wait? The time of your life is now so don’t waste it. Find freedom for you finances and learn to give while learning to live.
The principle of the first invites God into every corner of your life. Wherever the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Anxiety about your finances will put more stress on your love life than you can imagine. Peace is the ultimate protein shake for your spiritual attitude muscle!
Matthew 6:19-21 – Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:25-26 – Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Budgeting
Write out and keep a budget to plan for your needs. Everydollar.com is and Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University are excellent tool to help with budgeting. Track what you spend for two months just to see where your money is going. Practice the 80% rule and live like no one else so you can live like no one else. You may feel discouraged with past financial decisions. You can be an optimist with faith that is an rock and anchor through a storm. God is for you and not against you because God can redeem any situation and transform it. Out God is a God of victory, power, and redemption and because of that, I believe in you. Follow Him, give Him yourself and let Him move through you so that This is the Time of Your Life!
